Texas Wisteria
Wisteria macrostachya

This wisteria is native from East Texas down to the coast.  It seems to do well in my Hill Country garden.  It is much more delicate than the Chinese wisteria and has a pale lavender flower in April and May.  It may bloom again in the summer if conditions are right.
