Blue Amsonia OR Blue Star

Apocynaceae Amsonia ciliata

This is a little known Hill Country perennial.  It has light blue flowers in the early spring.  It grows in full sun and has very slender long leaves.  If you want to try something no one else has in their garden, then try this one.  I have not tested it for deer, but suspect they will like it.
