Standing Cypress

Standing cypress is a show-stopping biennial that self-sows easily.  A biennial needs two years before flowering.  The red-orange tubular flowers of the standing cypress are great for attracting hummingbirds as well as comments from visitors.  The fine cut foliage is also attractive and very unusual.  A mass of this flower is something to be remembered.
