Maximillian sunflowers put on a great show in the fall. All along the highways you will see this spectacular flower. It needs full sun and should be planted far back in the border so it will be neglected and therefore will not take over the garden. You might want to remove the seed heads to control the spread of this flower where you do not wish to have it.
