Mexican Plum
Rosaceae Prunus mexicana

Non-invasive one trunk tree up to 40 feet. Unlike creek plum, it does not form a thicket. Mexican plum blooms in the spring and produces about one inch diameter fruit. The fall leaves are yellow.   It is rate but native to the Hill Country.  It is drought tolerant when established and the fruit will attract wildlife. Plant in full sun.
