Little Bluestem
Schizachyrium scoparium var. frequens

A dominate grass in the tall grass prairie, little bluestem stands out in the fall when the 2-3 foot stems turn a brilliant bronze. The seeds are silver and run along the edge of the stalks.  Plant in full sun.
