Heartleaf Hibiscus
Malvaceae Hibiscus cardiophyllus

This red flowered hibiscus is a standout in the well-drained garden from May to November. It is usually about one foot tall. Plant in full sun or part shade. It should be well mulched in the Hill Country during the winter. It responds to pruning in the summer.
